This page explains what information ShipToPost collects, how it is used, and how third-party services may be involved.
Information we collect
ShipToPost may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address when you join the waitlist or contact us. When the app is available, it may also process account information, draft content, credit usage, and supported GitHub activity needed to create editable post drafts.
GitHub data
The first version of ShipToPost is designed around read access to supported GitHub activity. This may include repository activity, commit metadata, and related signals needed to identify meaningful work and generate drafts. ShipToPost is not designed to write to your GitHub account, push code, edit files, or modify your repositories.
How we use information
We use information to operate the waitlist and app, identify meaningful builder activity, generate and manage drafts, track credit usage, provide support, prevent abuse, improve the product, and understand site performance.
Third-party services
ShipToPost may use third-party services to operate the product and website. GitHub may be used for authentication and read access to supported activity. Paddle may be used for localized pricing, tax calculation, payments, invoices, and credit purchases. Analytics services may be used to understand site usage. The site may also load X embeds for social proof. These services may process data under their own privacy policies.
Payments
Payments are handled by Paddle. ShipToPost does not store full payment card details. Paddle may receive information needed to calculate localized prices and taxes, process payments, manage invoices, and handle payment-related compliance.
Cookies and analytics
ShipToPost uses local storage to remember cookie consent. If you accept analytics cookies, analytics tools may be used to understand site usage and improve the product. Third-party embeds, such as X posts, may also set cookies or collect information according to their own policies.
Data control
You can contact us to ask about your information, request corrections, or request deletion where applicable. Waitlist emails include an unsubscribe link when sent through the product.
Changes
This policy may be updated as ShipToPost evolves, including when new integrations, payment flows, or product features are added.
